I have seen the amazing and ethereal cherry blossoms all over Philadelphia marking the real start of spring for me. Fairmount Park is a great place to see them in all their 3-day splendor.
This season makes me dread the coming, hot summer, and therefore engenders a feeing of gratitude for the still-cool weather. It has inspired to to get back into the quilt room and get some things done.
The focus will be on more Rimpas, more raw-edge appliqué landscapes, and I want to start doing animal portraits with the Kate Themel method. I’ll be posting pictures as I progress so check back here to see them!
