Since my last version of this quilt sold right off the wall in 2019 at a local art show, I was compelled to make another one! After all, I only made it to fit on a specific wall in my sewing room, and also as a free-motion sampler. It was also a way to play with Zazu’s Raw Edge Applique technique I really admired. So I have been working on that again and although I have been side-tracked by the pandemic and other life changes such as moving back to Vermont, I was able to complete it in September not before the Bondville Fair, but in time for the Bennington QuiltFest.
