Since my last version of this quilt sold right off the wall in 2019 at a local art show, I was compelled to make another one! After all, I only made it to fit on a specific wall in my sewing room, and also as a free-motion sampler. It was also a way to play with Zazu’s Raw Edge Applique technique I really admired. So I have been working on that again and although I have been side-tracked by the pandemic and other life changes such as moving back to Vermont, I was able to complete it in September not before the Bondville Fair, but in time for the Bennington QuiltFest. In 2026, this quilt won 1st prize for Peoples Choice at the Jamaica Day Quilt Show.
