NEWS April 2019: this quilt appeared in the Bryn Mawr Presbyterian Church Quilt Show and was sold! I’m so happy that it has found a good home! I hope the buyer contacts me, and enjoys this piece for years to come, as much as I enjoyed making it.
Here’s asnother quilt started 2 years ago before I went to the beach that summer. It uses Zazu’s raw edge appliqué method and was just a sample to work out whether or not I want to further explore this technique. I don’t, but I had a blast doing it and it certainly adds to my free-motion repertoire.
It fits in my quilt studio and a skinny wall between a door and a closet. I love looking at it every day, it adds a lot of color to that room!
