This is a piece that I am making for someone who visited the Bondville Fair this year and really liked a piece by Karen Rose that was already sold. I volunteered to make it for him myself. Of course, I have chosen my own theme and color scheme. I am halfway through it, and I have really enjoyed doing Foundation Paper Piecing again. It’s a great technique! This pattern is called Goggles, by Brooke Husgen (loveroflifedesigns.etsy.com).
Below is the bottom half of the piece, and then the central goggles pieces. The left and right sides are not complete yet, as I’ve run out of Metropolitan Fog Grunge white for the snow. More coming on in a few days.
