Since January of 2022 I have been working on technique that I had forgotten about – English Paper Piecing (EPP). It’s been a while since I learned about it, but I stumbled upon Tula Pink’s Nova pattern and I am hooked!
The first EPP quilt, below left, is my Alice Nova. It took me about 2.5 months to finish the top, using Tula’s Curiouser and Curiouser fabric line.
The next EPP quilt I tackled is My New Obsession below center. It’s from chef Karen Tripp, the pattern is called Obsession. It’s an intermediate pattern which took me about 5 months.
The third EPP is Gypsy Party below right. This one was the most challenging yet, also from the Hammerstein collection of patterns. It took me about 9 months to complete.
Now at the end of April, I am finally starting the most challenging EPP that I know of – a La Pas quilt! More info coming as I work through it.
