Since January of 2022 I have been working on technique that I had forgotten about – English Paper Piecing (EPP). Â It’s been a while since I learned about it, but I stumbled upon Tula Pink’s Nova pattern and I am hooked!
The first EPP quilt, below left, is my Alice Nova. Â It took me about 2.5 months to finish the top, using Tula’s Curiouser and Curiouser fabric line.
The next EPP quilt I tackled is My New Obsession below center. It’s from chef Karen Tripp, the pattern is called Obsession. It’s an intermediate pattern which took me about 5 months.
The third EPP is Gypsy Party below right. This one was the most challenging yet, also from the Hammerstein collection of patterns. It took me about 9 months to complete.
Now at the end of April, I am finally starting the most challenging EPP that I know of – a La Pas quilt! More info coming as I work through it.
